Project Overview
DW Carpentry is a small business located in Conway, AR that specializes in trim carpentry work for residential contractors. They approached me with a need for a website to catalog photos of their work so it was easily searchable to show future clients their work.
My Contributions
After some initial consultation with the client, I learned that there were some very specific requirements for the catalog and searching system. So I wound up creating the website with custom code from scratch, coding the layout, style, and photo catalog system from the ground up. When the project was over, the website consisted of a main home page where there was a gallery, contact information, and about us information. There was also another page dedicated to admins for gallery updates that required a sign-in. This solution met the clients needs reasonably well, but I received some feedback that the searching system needed some rework. We then did the re-work on the gallery's search system and the client was pleased. It's always great to know that your client still uses your product to this day!
